On the Groups tab, tap the + button, then give your group a name, emoji and currency. You’re added automatically as “You”.
Add members by name and email. People you invite receive an email — they sign in to SplitsRight with that same email and tap Accept in their Inbox (the 🔔 on the Groups screen) to join the group.
Open a group and tap + to add an expense: enter who paid and the amount, then choose how to split it — Equally, Exact amounts, Percentage, or Shares. You can add a category, a note and an optional receipt photo.
The Balances screen shows each person’s net position and simplifies everything into the fewest payments needed to settle up. Tap Settle to record a payment, with an optional note and proof-of-payment photo.
When you record that you paid someone who is an app user, they receive a request to confirm it, and it only changes balances once they approve. If you received the money — or the other person isn’t on the app — it settles right away. Payments waiting for your confirmation appear in your Inbox 🔔.
No. While the app is open, changes from other members sync automatically every few seconds. There’s also a Sync now button in Settings if you ever want to force it.
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password?. We’ll email you a code — enter it along with your new password. If the email doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder.
This usually means a different email was used. Make sure you sign in with the exact email you created your account with. Use Sign in (not Create account) for an existing account.
Go to Settings → Delete account. Your login is removed; your past entries remain in shared groups as “Former member” so other members’ balances stay correct.
